Thanks. Good to know that the front bumper doesn't need to be removed. I'm going to a wrap place tomorrow to see what it would cost for the rest of the trivalent pieces and the chrome window trim.

I did see some aftermarket gloss black grill rings on Amazon, more than half the price of oem.

I saw those too but I only wanted oem. But thanks for pointing it out, someone might want to get those.

The rings can also be wrapped but it's difficult and time consuming.

just replaced my grill rings with OEM gloss black and wrapped the chrome in the front in case you wanna see what it looks like. Mirrors, trim and roof are also wrapped. 20% tint

Did you wrap the front lip and rear lower bumper chrome pieces as well? I can't really tell from the picture. I keep saying that I'm going to do those two pieces but been to lazy lately to do it. Your jeep is looking sharp.

Thanks - yours too. Back is next, tail-light bezel and lower bumper . I was actually thinking of wrapping the back lower chrome piece gloss white - but worried it won't match the paint close enough. If not, I'll paint the back pieces with Auto Dip - didn't wanna use that in the front, figured the wrap would stand up better to the road rash.

here is a before and after.

How much did you spend on the grill rings?? Where did you buy them?? My biggest issue with the trivalent chrome is it shows water marks.

Ok now I see the difference. Much better looking. It's motivating me to finish mine now. Anyways I tried plasti dip on the window trim and hated it. It peeled and over time just started looking really bad so I took it off and ended up painting them. Can't wait to see your ride on 22's. I've been saving for 22" srt reps but we bought a new house so the wheels will have to wait.

Still thinking I may wrap the whole front grill black like the SRT's, keep going back and forth on that. Had my trim wrapped by a pro - too hard to do. Just put two kids in braces - so I feel your pain... figured 22's and then I'm done, also figure I could sell the OEM altitiude rims for a few bucks and the tires with them, only have 4k miles.

I think you should do it, wrap the front grill that is. If I can finish doing the lower chrome pieces in black, the roof in black and some 22's I could finally leave this thing alone. Here is mine with the front grill blacked out. Do you have the lowering links on yours?
