so after 4 months or arguing, haggling, bargaining, asking questions, reading hundreds of posts, messaging back & forth, buying parts, sending parts back, making phone calls, and the jeep arriving 3 weeks late...it's finally time to start modding....

so far, day 2, I did the debadging, exhaust, SRT rear springs, SRT rear swaybar, mats, AFE CAI & drop in filter, and switched out the rear jeep badge from chrome to black.
mounting the wheels tomorrow.
still waiting on the color matched parts to be finished.
so far, SRT rear swaybar, big difference. nice & tight. cant really tell on the rear drop with the SRT rear springs, it was dark when I left the shop. the only problem I have so far is the magnaflow exhaust and AFE CAI, they don't come anywhere close to the flowmaster exhaust & K&N CAI. it's almost as quiet as stock. sounds like crap. very disappointed. $1500 wasted. the flowmasters & K&N had a great deep sound that everyone could hear. I didn't buy this setup for performance, I bought it for the sound, and it has none. I will update the post as I get things done, the wheels, vinyl trim & the color matched parts.

yeah, I have major ocd, lol
hence why I ordered the parts before I even had the jeep. I need everything done yesterday or I have anxiety lol i'm not kidding when I say I was on the computer until 3-6am every night looking stuff up for the past 3 months lol i'm taking a ride over to a vinyl wrap guy today to see if they can do something tomorrow lol I cant bitch about the color matched parts since my friend is painting everything for free, so that's killing me. they should have been done already. I want the grille done. luckily the guys at the garage know how I am, so they do it so I don't bust their balls all day, I can be a bitch so they just want to shut me up, plus I buy them good lunches while they do my work.

ok, so this morning I got to the bottom of the rear SRT springs situation. last night when I got to the garage everyone had left so I couldn't talk to anyone, this morning I asked a few questions about the springs and it was one of those "you cant make this s**t up" stories. anyway, it's all fixed and i'm stoked!
they look awesome, and the drop is perfect now. the 22" x 9" wheels ride nice, I was expecting a little rougher ride, but not at all.
today I also figured out how to turn off the seatbelt chime, the annoying horn door lock/unlock beep, and switched out the chrome rear bumper trim for the black one.
all that's left is the black tail light bezels, color matched parts, and the vinyl wrapped window trim

i was a little annoyed with the limited having it at first, but I think when I do the window trim black, it will look much better. that's why I didn't black out the mirrors and handles, i'll color match them, and just have the top & bottom black.

thought about it, cant do it. unless I can find a rear jeep tailgate badge to match. it will drive me nuts knowing they are 2 different colors. unless I do the "hemi" in the gloss black also. but I don't think I would like that, it looks better clean. the grey "hemi" is from a challenger, and it's nicer looking than the black one....damn jeep to hell for making the rear emblem undebadgable lol
