Kudos for getting her on trail and boulder fields. + rep to you.
Thanks Moose....I was getting some crazy looks from some hunters thinking I was crazy bringing a nice Jeep out in those elements...but it did amazingly well with no problems and no damage!

You should feel completely confident in your purchase. Lots of folks only talk about issues they have and that's fair....but lots of us have zero problems and its been an amazing vehicle. You should have no hesitation....you won't be disappointed...I promise you!

I also am hearing a sliding sound from inside the dash on the shotgun side occasionally. I am not too concerned about any of this.

Would have enjoyed some pics from your rock crawl. You are brave for doing that on the painted 20's!! And nice front tag, too.
Thanks! I would have liked pics to but to tell you the truth...it was protected land and i didn't want to get caught and in trouble. I'll post a pic of what I went over....nothing large and I didn't go over a lot of it but wanted to see how it performed....and it went over without an issues.

Here is a pic of the boulder field...didn't drive across this but just went over a little bit as it is protected land and I didn't want to get in trouble or damage the wheels.

Re: 8,000 Mile update

Good to hear about all the 'no problem' owners. I can say the same. Five weeks and almost 3,000 miles without a single quality problem.
Even the 18" Latitudes have been OK in snow, either at highway speeds or up to 7 inches deep in open fields and trails. Enough to get me through this first winter anyway.
It is so quiet on the highway, every drive is relaxing like some kind of therapy session.
