A few views from the OBX

Up here in Carova. That's a newborn foal with it's mom. (born last evening)

Re: A few views from the OBX

Awesome! Love Corova.... driven up through there several times in the past.... stayed in Corolla for several years... what is the traffic like on the beach, we'd like to stay there next year and will have a 4 1/2 yr. old as well as a 10 month old.... It's a shame that the wild horses are only up that way any more...

That's why we drive 8 hours down to here to avoid the Jersey shore! (Carova beach in North Carolina) I will never pay again to access any beach or buy a beach tag. Plus it's just so incredibly nice down here. Plus the fishing has been pretty damn good the past week+. Last week, pompano, spots, croakers, today: lots of blues.

Damn straight I'm an Eagles fan. (and a season ticket holder for many years now) Funny, a few years ago I'm chilling out down here and here an E A G L E S EAGLES chant from a few houses over.

Traffic is "moderate" further South on the beach, but the drivers look out for random kids running from the umbrella to the surf. As far as we are up the beach, the traffic is pretty light.

the1jake - If my wife sees these pictures, she's liable to make me take her all the way to NC in our Jeep! Big slice of awesome.

Great stuff. It's why OBX remains my favorite spot on the planet!

I sure wouldn't mind taking mine out to the mountains in your area. The desert has always been one of my favorite places to go four wheeling.
