What is that (in the center) on the lower air dam of the Summit edition? Looks like a camera ball of some sort? Lol.

Re: Any pictures of Summit from Philly and DC Auto Shows?

The mineral grey with the added chrome looks great. I too have had mixed feelings about the chrome grill insert but saw a GM suv last night with chrome grill insert...it looked good. Summit only adds polished wheels, chrome fog lamp bezzels, and chrome grill insert so not too much added. Thank goodness jeep isn't doing GOLD trim like back in 1993......argh! My first Grand Cherokee in 1992 I had to go with a Lerado since I detested the gold trim. Five or so GCs later....and I go to my GC in the store parking lot last night and right next to mine is an old 1993 GC just like I had....same color and all. A lot of changes since then for sure.......

Re: Any pictures of Summit from Philly and DC Auto Shows?

These pics actually made me like the Summit more than I did before. If I had to change a couple things I would maybe loose a little chrome on the front as it is a little overboard. Maybe leave as is with the chrome fog bezels, but get rid of that grill for the standard Overland's grill. As for the interior I actually like it more after seeing these pics however that weird ass stitching they did to the seats HAS to go. What were they thinking? Overall though I like it.

Re: Any pictures of Summit from Philly and DC Auto Shows?

Thanks for the pics. I didn't even notice the 70th anniversary edition when I was at the show. (was there on Sunday and it was PACKED)

One thing I do know... after looking at many other SUVs and competitors at the show, I'm more convinced than ever that purchasing the Jeep was the right choice for me.

Re: Any pictures of Summit from Philly and DC Auto Shows?

Yeah, I think that the summit exterior is a bit too much for me. I bought this truck for more adventuresome use, and all of the chrome detracts a bit for that. I do like the interior a lot however. To each their own I suppose.

Re: Any pictures of Summit from Philly and DC Auto Shows?

Hey there Sid Fields thanks for the pics. I'm still not real fond of the 70th Anniversary Edition exterior and interior color.

But... I am still in LOVE with the GC Summit edition. Every time I see more pics of these Jeeps it just makes me smile. Patience, Patience, I need patience, I can't wait for mine to come!!!

My wife is more practical. She thinks that you are sitting in the car 99% of the time and looking at the front end only rarely. That 1% can be painful however. I remain undecided.

LOL at braces.

Your wife is so right. It really is all about the interior, as that is where you spend most of your time. I also think the interior of the Summit looks nice now, though the 1st pics I saw a few months back made it look quite awful.

Re: Any pictures of Summit from Philly and DC Auto Shows?

Anybody know if the polished wheels in the photo are standard on the overland?

Re: Any pictures of Summit from Philly and DC Auto Shows?

^^^^^^^ Those wheels look different than those posted earlier in this thread. They look chromed/polished only on the surface, rather than the entire wheel itself. I prefer these.
