Curious to see if there are any saddle interiors out there yet. The race is on to see who will be the first. Whats your guess as to when the first will surface ?
Just hung up with jeep. They had my vin number but showed nothing eles. Its not built and she didn't have a schedule on when it would be built. And forget about any delivery date, thats a joke. This overland with saddle and no tech. was ordered on the 21st of Sept. Looking like early 2011 at this point. Totally pathetic.
oh that really sucks, I had that shade of brown in my bmw 535 and I wasn't so fond of it, I wanted something more brown and less orange. The saddle in pictures looks brown though, hopefully you are a little color blind lol
Let's wait until he's finished getting intimate with the "leathery goodness" before we ask for pics guys. And hope that he at least wipes things down first.
Just hung up with jeep. I called again because I never heard back from my monday call when they said they would call me back within 24 hours with a idea of time frame. They still have no schedule for my saddle overland orered 9-22. Any ideas ?
My dealer was pretty helpful with me on the 10th. I had found 4 or 5 Overlands with saddle interior showing up as inventory on dealers websites. I gave him the VINs, and he reported that they were all "Sold Orders" (like ours) that had been placed around 9/15 or so. And they had been built but not yet delivered.
If we assume that all the sold orders with saddle interiors are in order-date sorted queue to be built, then your order of 9/22 can't be far behind.

I hope your right. I just wonder why they keep saying "its not scheduled at this point" which is consistent with Milous list. Can it go from not scheduled to built in a week ?
I don't know how long the delay from D1 status to built is. If the dealer rep is correct and they're having trouble getting the saddle interior from their suppliers, then you may be further behind than a week. And, of course, our assumption could also be wrong -- they could be shuffling orders around for other reasons. But I strongly suspect that by this time next week you'll be in D1.
Hey DJ, where's the full photo shoot? We all want to see full pic's of the interior. I live in Attleboro, so don't make me track you down so I can see them in person. By the way, what dealership did you get your's though?
That is a very interesting color and certainly not too "orangy". IMO, it's a perfect match to the wood as well (I noticed some were concerned about that).
BTW, would you mind posting some images in the sunlight with open doors where we can see the blackberry color (and how it turns out in the sun) in combination with the saddle?
I was thinking of this combo as well but wasn't sure if the colors would match (black and saddle should match but wasn't sure about the blackberry in the sun).
Thanks in advance and congrats on your new ride!
