Hi,
Picked up my 2014 GC Overland in Granite couple weeks ago, went for a drive up to the Darling ranges here in Perth, Western Australia to take a few shots.
Have done 500kms in it now, love every bit of owning my first 4X4! The Quadra-lift is probably my favorite feature & the way it just looks the part whether in a city lane, or offroad track in the hills!
Had dealer fit the Mopar Tow pack, & I installed the Mopar Skid plates set last weekend aswell as slapping on the obligatory Jeep Garage Logo sticker!!.
Also bought a 4 Bike rack & extended hitch tongue, will be heading off mountain biking in style now:thumbsup:
Anyway very happy to have joined the Jeep GC club, even had my first wave from a fellow Perth GC owner whilst cruising along today
Hope you guys like the pics
Cheers
Justin
Awesome color combination. Some pixs have a "blue" tint on my monitor, must be the clear Aussie sky.
Waiting for the Trailhawk Diesel to come out so I can take my mountain bike deeper into the Rocky Mountains in style.
Your are right about having the obligatory JeepGarage sticker!!!
Thanks for all your comments! Great car, great forum:thumbsup:
Going to shoot some city pics, quadra-lift dropped, soon to show it's split personality:lol:
Recent 4wding in the GC Overland.
Track started off easy, got progressively harder with soft sand & some steep dune climbs that had me looking like... , but GC like...:sleepy:.
GC breezed it, used sand mode for the first time & low range on some sections. Aired down to 20(is there a way to clear the low pressure warning)
The traction control was working on the real soft, steep stuff, sounds grindey & traction light flashes.
Quadra-lift was a saviour in the heavly rutted sections.
All in all it did brilliantly with a first time 4wder behind the wheel, appreciate all the more now what the GC is capable of! But now she's polished up & safely back in the garage hehe:thumbsup:
