Bit50's Off Road Adventures

Went out with my buddies to Hollister Hills off road park in California. Jeep did pretty well and tackled pretty much everything I threw at it. The QTII system was a little frustrating at times as you need momentum to clear some obstacles and once the wheels start spinning it starts taking over. I'm thinking I should have tried the sand setting rather then rock as it would make sense to not go slamming over rocks.

Also, I decided to organize all my trips into one thread sort of like a build thread. Figured it's simpler to just add my latest trip then start a new thread. Next I hope to make it to Pismo for some fun on the dunes

Hollister Hills Run:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lost Coast Run:

Had to be the softest sand i've driven on. I've been to pismo beach several times and this is much softer.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

South Lake Tahoe Run:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hollister Hills 1st Run:

Cheap plastic tabs broke when I bottomed out on an obstacle. Easily fixed though

Love this shot

Re: Bit50's Off Road Adventures

Great vids! Good to know the Jeep can do it. That FJ at the end, was it on the same trail you already went up? It seemed to make it up extremely easily.

He actually had a lot of trouble until he changed his line. So he actually couldn't make it up my line. Although, he forgot to engage his rear locker. I would have had an easier time but the easy line isn't always the fun/interesting line

If your going to level it, it's definitely worth considering the whole lift. The exhaust is Dynomax. $479 of amazon. has some drone but it sounds like most do so there's no way i would ever spend 1500 on the mopar or corsa.
