I would love to have that combination. Black leather/black wood.

Not about to switch it out, but just drool over the pics.

Does the Nappa leather come in diferant colors?

The PDF brochure shows the Australian Overland with Black looking Nappa leather. But the PDF is such low quality it could be grey, black, navy, take your pick

Yes, the Nappa leather comes in black, beige, and saddle. Looks like from a post up above that in Australia the black wood comes with a black interior instead of saddle.

Re: Black Olive Ash Burl Wood Trim photos

I've got the black leather interior but the brown wood. My wife actually liked the grey wood from the Laredo but we liked all of the other features of the Overland so that's what we ended up getting. I'm going to try to get the black wood through the parts department and swap it out myself eventually.

^^You have real wood in an Overland. If you want the real black wood it's going to cost a lot!

Sorry, just the way you worded your first reply that made me think that you were somehow saying that the Overland was different because it has "Real" wood. What does the fact that my Overland has real wood have to do with how much real black wood is going to cost?

Those wood pieces for the Jeep are very expensive. The plastic pieces that look like wood (like you said your wife likes in the Laredo) aren't as expensive. That's all. Yea, sorry, I didn't word that very well. I thought since you already have wood in the overland and wanted black you would want to replace it with the black wood from the Overland Summit, rather than with the cheaper Laredo plastic "wood".

Personally, the black fake wood would be good enough for me...the real wood in vehicles has sooo much lacquer good fake wood looks the same to me anyway. If you asked me if I'd pay $200 or more for real wood, I'd have said no... I think real wood trim is a throw back...not really necessary anymore. But hey, that's just my opinion.

If you end up doing the swap you know I don't need to say it BUT "We want PICS "
