Stiffer, like you would get tired of it quickly, or like you see some of those really lowered cars riding very rough over normal driving conditions?

Mine may be a little different as I have a to package and the load-leveling springs. Others with the same set up have complained that the ride is a bit rougher than they would expect for a Grand Cherokee.

Thanks

PS Did you get is cleaned up yet? Looking for more pics

When I say the ride is more stiff I mainly mean it doesn't feel like the car is going to tip over when I go around corners without slowing down. In my opinion, it is not as bouncy as it was with the stock suspension either. I would not get sick of the ride, it rides great, 100 times better then before. It doesn't look like a low rider, but the drop is absolutely noticeable. Even getting in and out of the car is different because I have to lower my head otherwise I will bang into the door frame. Same thing when getting stuff out of the back, I have to duck so I don't hit my head on the rear tailgate.

I think you will be very happy with the ride, it really is so much better than stock. And the look of it is starting to grow on me. Again, the biggest shock to me was how much the jeep dropped with this setup, but like I said earlier, I don't regret doing it. It is a pretty expensive mod all said and done and I am happy with the results.

I haven't cleaned it yet, the weather has been pretty lousy in Chicago the last week or so. Hopefully this weekend. I ordered the black exhaust tips and those are going to be delivered today so I take pictures of those too.

Cool, happy to help. Let me know if you have any other questions. When are you getting your stuff installed?

I got the tips from justforjeeps.com, along with the black grill inserts. I need to stop spending money on this car, my wife is going to kill me.

Trying to get some recommendations here locally. I have another thread out asking, lots of "views" but no replys...

I talked with a shop that is recommended for alignments and had my Mustang's exhaust fixed from a previous shop that messed it up. And he said they do shocks & struts all the time, so shouldn't be any problems. They are a "House of Mufflers & Brakes" shop but have been around for quite a few years. I know them and have used them on other issues (had a broken wheel stud removed & replaced for my Mustang). He didn't even charge me.

Just want to do my homework, after spending all that time researching these springs & the best shocks

Re: Bmock's 2015 Altitude

I hear ya, the last thing you want to do is bring it somewhere and they don't know what the hell they are doing. I called a bunch of speed shops before I decided on a place. After spending all that money on the parts you don't want to skimp on the install.

Good luck with everything!

Re: Bmock's 2015 Altitude

Looks really nice, man. I especially like how it levels the Jeep out too.

Did you fab up your own bumper plugs or buy them from bumperplugs.com? They are ridiculously expensive freom there. About $30/pair

I agree with you @Attitude, I don't mind a little rake but the way we start out is just entirely too much.

I bought them from bumperplugs.com. They are expensive, and honestly i dont think they do a very good job. The plugs are very noticeable. I might take them out and try something else.

Just replaced the stock honeycomb chrome altitude grill with the black srt grill. Pretty simple mod but looks so much better in my opinion.
