I bought my altitude in June. So far I have tinted the front windows (20%), painted the calipers red, had the roof wrapped in glossy black vinyl, and most recently added the SRT spider monkey reps and 295/45/20 Yokohama parada x's.

Busy day today! Got the upper grill section along with the chrome around the Windows wrapped in glossy black vinyl. Also installed my new headlights from eagle eye.

You're making me question whether I want to wrap the grill black! Looks good can you take some more pictures of the front with the new headlights from further back and side angle when you get a chance !? Thanks and good work!

Are you leaving the platinum honeycomb grill or changing to black? Actually never mind that looks like the lighting. I think you have. A black grill already

Take it to a vinyl/tint shop or have a lot of patience. You leave them on the car and wrap them.

Any idea how much they charged you for just the window trim wrap? Trying to get a baseline of what to reasonably expect to pay.

I swear, if I knew how difficult it was going to be to find the parts I might not have started it. It rides great, pretty stiff, and no body roll at all on turns. I am very happy with the results. This morning when I got to work I opened the passenger door to grab my bag and banged my forehead on the top of the door. I wasn't even thinking about it. Now I have to bend doe when getting something out of car, and same is true with the trunk in the back.

The only thing I am questioning is if the rear is sagging. Last night I was looking at it and the rear end looked pretty low. I am not sure if it is just my garage not being level, or if there really is some sagging.

Do you know if they put the shorter, fatter coils on the back? From what Chad at Black Ops, contrary to what you might think the "stronger" looking coils go in the rear

I think it was my slanted driveway and garage that was making it look like it was sagging. My springs were marked front and rear so I know they put them in the right place. I will keep an eye on it the next few days. Earlier today I was looking at it and it looked fine.

Need more pics, brother ;)

Do you experience any rubbing with your 295-45-20 tires now that you've dropped it?

Thinking about getting the same wheels (20" Spider Monkeys) and either running on the stock tires or getting another set.

As soon as I can clean it up I will post more pics. No issues at all with rubbing. I wanted a wider tire that looked more aggressive which is why I went with the 295's. Again though, no issues with running. The car really does drive so much better with the springs and new shocks. It is a little weird driving it though because I feel so much lower in it.

Been about a week now with your new suspension. Can you give me your real-world detail opinions on: ride quality, things you've noticed that you don't like & whether or not you have any regrets whatsoever. Anxious to hear as I have all my components sitting at home with me.

Thanks

I am extremely happy with the way the jeep handles after the shocks, springs, and sway bar. It really drives like a completely different vehicle. I am bringing it in this afternoon for the alignment now that everything has settled. In all honesty though, I don't think I was really prepared for how much of a drop it would be. Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with it, but that was a little surprising. I would definitely do it all over again though.

I know you mentioned that the ride is stiffer, but can you elaborate?

Stiffer, like you would get tired of it quickly, or like you see some of those really lowered cars riding very rough over normal driving conditions?

Mine may be a little different as I have a to package and the load-leveling springs. Others with the same set up have complained that the ride is a bit rougher than they would expect for a Grand Cherokee.

Thanks

PS Did you get is cleaned up yet? Looking for more pics ;)

When I say the ride is more stiff I mainly mean it doesn't feel like the car is going to tip over when I go around corners without slowing down. In my opinion, it is not as bouncy as it was with the stock suspension either. I would not get sick of the ride, it rides great, 100 times better then before. It doesn't look like a low rider, but the drop is absolutely noticeable. Even getting in and out of the car is different because I have to lower my head otherwise I will bang into the door frame. Same thing when getting stuff out of the back, I have to duck so I don't hit my head on the rear tailgate.

I think you will be very happy with the ride, it really is so much better than stock. And the look of it is starting to grow on me. Again, the biggest shock to me was how much the jeep dropped with this setup, but like I said earlier, I don't regret doing it. It is a pretty expensive mod all said and done and I am happy with the results.

I haven't cleaned it yet, the weather has been pretty lousy in Chicago the last week or so. Hopefully this weekend. I ordered the black exhaust tips and those are going to be delivered today so I take pictures of those too.

Thanks, man. I really appreciate the feedback. Your assessment sets my mind at ease.

Where did you find the black exhaust tips, brother?

Cool, happy to help. Let me know if you have any other questions. When are you getting your stuff installed?

I got the tips from justforjeeps.com, along with the black grill inserts. I need to stop spending money on this car, my wife is going to kill me.
