Burralow (solve the cabin fever)

After a few days at home over the xmas holidays we had a day out to Burralow camping area. Burralow is located off the Bells Line of Road, with access via Kurrajong Heights. The access near Bipin is closed at the moment as the bridge at the bottom is in need of repair.

The track in is only 10 or so k's and is well graded and pretty easy, although a bit steep in places and might get slippery after rain.

Had a nice day, around 28deg and sunny and did the short walk up to the little waterfall. Only a few groups camping and a couple of day trippers like us.

Snags for lunch and an apple pie and custard from the Bilpin Fruit Bowl for afternoon tea - Yum!

Nice shots. Pie looks interesting with custard topping. Not something you see here is USA, though my New England father would melt cheddar cheese on his apple pie which is quite good. What are snags? I learn something new every time I am on this website!
