Re: Dark Charcoal with some goodies

That looks amazing. This is exactly what I was thinking. I was going to try to achieve something similar by getting stock rims powder coated does that sound crazy?

Re: Dark Charcoal with some goodies

That looks great. So if I understand correctly, I can get a set of wheels off a friends junked 2008 SRT8 and they will bolt right up to the WK2 without any mods at all? I don't have offset info for the WK vs WK2 yet and deciding on wheels is a big deal for me; if I can't have the wheels I like then I wait on the WK2. Yes, it's ALL about the wheels.

Re: Dark Charcoal with some goodies

the bolt pattern for the 2011 is the same as the 05-10.....so yes the SRT wheels will bolt right up. The offset of the 2011 is like +56 or something like that. But if you notice...that offset tucks the wheels in the fenders just a tad....so the +34(front) and +50(rear) of the SRt offsets looks great on the 2011 and brings the wheels/tires out just a tad more even with the fenders.

^agreed, this lesser offset looks fantastic, thought it would be too little at first espec the fronts.

Thanks for the comments guys! Thinking about doing the chrome grille and mirrors to match the body color, what do you guys think?

And I think K&N has a CAI out for this jeep already I told my friends shop which I got the exhaust done at to order one for me but he still hasn't gotten back to me.

Enjoy it.

Personally the black wheels and charcoal body doesn't make it pop. Maybe black n black or silver body and black wheels. I dunno. My 10 cents.

so what color wheels would make dark charcoal 'pop', in your opinion?

Re: Dark Charcoal with some goodies

I would agree with RenegadeNY. Charcoal has to go with silver rims. That gives the vehicle the contrast it needs.

Changed my mind: the more often I look at those black rims the more I like them!
