Cool Emergency WK2

So, this will be just a teaser for now, but hopefully i'll have some amazing pictures in a few days.
I took my Overland WK2 and turned it into an emergency vehicle....

I ordered a Federal Signal Valor Lightbar, with white and blue emergency lights, and a few IPX620 grille lights, tailgate Vipers, and hide-a-way LEDs in the reverse light housings. This is gonna be pretty cool, hopefully. haha
Oh, and I mounted a mobile radio in the glovebox. like I said, more pics to come, and sorry for the iphone quality.

Re: Emergency WK2

Very interested to know how you got the driving lights hooked up with Canbus.

Re: Emergency WK2

i presume you are a member of public safety, around here we would get bagged and fined all day long for having stuff like that. most likely charged with impersonating a police officer.

scarpi has much to be proud of
Re: Emergency WK2

And you did that why? Hopefully you are a police officer. I would think that if you used that stuff on the road, you would be stopped for impersonating a police officer if you are not one.

Haha calm down guys, I'm a paramedic/firefighter with several agencies, it's all perfectly legal here in Illinois.

Will get videos up eventually, photos just don't do the lightbar justice.

Holy crap, I uploaded those photos on my laptop and didn't even see that, that basically ruins the photo. ugh I'm taking that one down.

Oh well, good news is, within the next week I'll have the lightbar slightly lowered to be more aerodynamic, and I'll wash the whole thing and get some good pictures.

You can have blue as a fire fighter? Blue is reserved for police in every state around me

Illinois is funny, blue is the only thing we can use, in terms of Volunteer firefighting. Department rigs get every color under the sun.

On a side note, the Flood feature on this lightbar lights up about a football field around the vehicle, it's absolutely awesome.
Let's just say, if you put it in flood and shut the headlights off while on a country road, it's still brighter than the headlights alone.

It's just not very legal to drive around with it on. haha
