The front tabs on the lower dam are fairly easy to remove, the entire piece is probably harder like you said. However, removing the two pieces do add another couple inches of clearance and some aesthetic appeal I believe.

No problem! Let me know if you have any questions, I just did this to mine the other day with only a flathead screwdriver and laying under the front of the bumper.

I looked at them and then decided i was too lazy, dont tink i really hit them much, and if i did there was no damage to them.

Nice! This will be one of my early trips when my GC is delivered.

Did you use sand mode or low range? Just curious as to what you did so as not to get the SERV 4WD message as other do.
