Hey guys.

Picked this up a month ago. Was a service department loaner, had only 1000kms on it. Has the tow package, ORA1, and the convenience group!

Did the 2.5" RRO, Sahara 32's. Today I installed my brake controller for towing a tent trailer next weekend, haha I need a 6" drop to get it level now:)

Today I also removed the two small lower airdams, looks much better!!

Very nice. One question though. How is the ride after the 2.5" lift? Do you see any difference in handling? Mileage? Comfort?

thanks,

Thanks!!

Ride is the exact same, great, since it's just a spacer lift and shock relocation. I believe, and will confirm this weekend, that the load levelling shocks still work.

And as far as mileage, too early to tell for sure, very close, and have to consider that the speedo and mileage is off due to the new diameter tires.

Finally got to get it out and get it dirty, test out all the select terrain settings, low range, hill descent..
Went out with the local Jeep club exploring a local abandoned mine, was mostly forest service roads, one small creek crossing. Fun none the less, gopro wasn't cooperating so wound up with very little video.

HOW DID YOU GET 2014 HEADLIGHTS?!?! That looks AWESOME!

I found this thread trying to do some research about the ProComp 7036, saw the headlights and WOW!!!

A few months ago I was beating myself up trying to find a way to get even 2011 HIDs to work but to pull the '14s off is incredible! Will definitely be looking into this mod! I see yours is a Laredo too (and blackberry pearl like mine).

Must look into those headlights, harness. Looks incredible with the lift, wheels, tires as well.

Haven't watched the video yet (at work) but what did you do about the gap below the headlights? some sort of filler plate? Looks insane!

Thanks:)

Haven't done anything about the filler piece, looks worse than it really is in the video because the gopro was so low down.

Is your jeep halogen lights like mine was? Lights are an easy swap.

PM me if you need any help.

Quick question...

I see you had the JK 32 wheel package I assume this was with Sahara 18s?

Then when you went to 275/65r18s you changed rims. Did you consider keeping the Sahara rims? Was it just for looks (it does look better) or was there a fit issue?

I happen to have both 275/65r18s and 18 Sahara rims in my garage that will be going on next week.. Just concerned I could have an issue you might have ran into...

Thanks! Looks great! love the lights!

Got to play in the snow on the weekend, our local mountains got dumped on, helped push a couple vehicles out, saw a number of accidents and stuck vehicles on the way up. I had no problem whatsoever though

Very nice rig! I like the headlight mod. After having a modified 98 XJ as my daily driver for the last 5 years, I just bought a 2011 Limited 4x4.

I'm curious if you remember what width and offset/backspace your wheels are. I have a laundry list of things to buy, I just haven't decided exactly what to do on the wheels. I'm considering the Trail Master TM210 in a 17x9, and running Toyo Open County AT II on them, as I've had those tires on my XJ and have been VERY happy with them.

Any info is appreciated.

I'm currently running your exact setup on my WK2. Same wheels, tires, and lift.

My question is did you have any issues with rubbing when you turn the wheel on the very front part of the factory fender flares? I had to trim a small portion of mine off so they didn't rub any longer. My ProComp 7036 wheels are "0" offset as well.

I'm considering buying the Bushwacker fender flares to cover the tires a little more but if I have to trim them as well, then I won't.

Thanks for any info.

Like others, yes I had rubbing. Had to trim some of the felt liner both front and back. Guess it's due to wheel offset, as I see guys running 33's now... Have been running rubi knockoffs for the summer, plan on putting duratracs back on in next few weeks for winter....
