Picked up my Jeep on July 23rd. I did most of the mods I wanted so far with the exception of a CAI since there aren't any yet. Mods in the future will just be wrapping the window frames gloss black, probably a set of the new SRT wheels and then the SRT brakes.

Looks good! My SRT reps made all the difference on my Summit. Think they will look awesome on an HA too ?

I actually bought some trim blackout tape from Pep Boys when I was looking to purchase an HA. May be worth trying first before laying down the $ to get it done professionally.

Thanks for the tip. We pretty much only have O'Reilly's here so I'll see if they have any.

Congrats, there are several CAI's for the 5.7L. I picked up a volant system for mine but many people go with the Mopar one and I think there are a couple others out there

I'm glad I did my homework and searched all I could before getting one. The 2016's switched to electric steering so it is missing a mounting location for the current CAI's. It will fit but it will not be properly supported in place.

And other then some added grunt under the hood what's the real benefit to having one?
I had an AEM Brute Force true CAI in my 2011 Charger RT and it made a huge difference. That feeling does go away as you get used to it but that doesn't mean the performance goes away.

Was not aware that anything inside the engine bay had changed, sorry for incorrect info. I'm sure the current companies making them will modify it for 16+'s soon enough

No prob. Usually I just jump head first but this time I took my time to make sure.

Got her all nice and clean with a coat of Sonax Carnauba wax last weekend.

Got her a little dusty today off roading at Kaena Point.

Thanks, your Summit looks good too. Lol, I did say a little.

I traded in my 2011 Jeep that I had the K&N CAI on and it fit in my 2016 Jeep HA with no issues. Jeep actually switched it out for me. I have had no issues at all with it not fitting. Might want to check this out. I can get you the part number if needed.

Thanks but I prefer either the Volant or aFe intakes.
