Thanks for the comments all, we had a blast. No need to air down for the sand, though we had to back out of a few holes. There are free air comoressors at the entrance to the Modano Creek road, I just did not see them until we got back out, so let the tires roll as-is.
Enforcer, Zapata Falls is a fissure in the ground at that point, so the cave like temps were probably in the 40F temp range during the day, while outside ambient temps in the sun were 65F at that time of day. Night time temps dropped into the 20F range so my guess is the Falls stay frozen for another month or so. Chibianh, we only got 3/4 of the way up the dunes, my boy was toasted but he is a trooper. I hope to do most of the Western NP's with him over the years.
