How does 2014 "on screen" Heat/AC work?

Have a 12 GC TTD. Considering going 2014, but Car and Driver mag slammed the 2014 GC for having the heat/AC controls buried in the screen rather hard knobs and buttons. Hot Summer here in Colorado ... so constantly overriding "auto" AC when getting in hot car, punching the AC button, twirling the fan speed knob which kicks AC into high, and pushing the "inside recirc air" button. How does your 2014 work?

With 2014 you can do the exact same thing. :thumbsup:There are knobs and buttons for AC control. Up & down temp buttons, recirc button, fan speed knob. Making adjustments to fan speed or using recirc button takes climate control out of AUTO mode. You can increase fan speed and adjust temp output by going up or down with the temp buttons without taking climate control out of AUTO mode.
