With 2014 you can do the exact same thing.
There are knobs and buttons for AC control. Up & down temp buttons, recirc button, fan speed knob. Making adjustments to fan speed or using recirc button takes climate control out of AUTO mode. You can increase fan speed and adjust temp output by going up or down with the temp buttons without taking climate control out of AUTO mode.
