I honestly don't notice it too much.

UFOKILLERZ didn't respond yet.

I'm going to need to see this gap before I take the plunge.
The littlest imperfections can get to me so this may be a deal breaker.
Alternatively I can remove the SRT emblem and find something to put in its place.
charger srt wheel has working heated wheel feature. i have a spare grand cherokee srt wheel that i will probably have time to put on next week to reconfirm.
There have been members elsewhere that stated that the heat works fine when they retrofitted the grand cherokee srt wheel into their durangos.
apologies for not replying sooner. Busy playing with my Ram Rebel =)

Re: Howiestt's Bright White 2014 Overland

latest findings... weird stuff..

so i took my grand cherokee srt wheel to try out today, connected just the heated part to my original harness, and woot heated steering stays on and wheel gets hot. proceed to remove my charger srt wheel, to put in gc srt wheel.
gc srt wheel in with gc srt harness, wtf no heated wheel.
swap in charger srt harness, and still wtf no heated wheel.
hook up charger srt wheel to harness, and wtf no heated wheel.

i am now stumped lol. left my gc srt wheel in there for now until i can sort this out. this is beyond weird! to confirm i believe the heat will work, but no idea why its not working for me!

none of my steering wheel heat works hah. I think it has to be a loose connection at the clock spring. Thats the only thing i can think of. But thats a job for another day.

Re: Concavo S5 on lowered 2014 Overland

Ufokillerz, When you take your wheel off the next time can you take a pic of the clockspring harness connector to clarify what you are changing/ swapping? Thanks!!

the clock spring is what all the plugs from the steering wheel plug into. The multiple pin black connector and the 2 pin white connector. I don't think i'll be taking it off, just going to use some tiny clamps to jumper it to test.

You have 3 connectors, a large black connector, a small black connector (horn) and a 2 wire white connector ( i believe its heat, and loose)

Re: Howiestt's Bright White 2014 Overland

I wonder if the Renegade airbag will fit properly with the SRT wheel? Looks like it might.
