Was talking with a female bmw dirver once that hit a deer that busted threw her windshild and when she came to a stop the deer was sitting in the seat next to her upright and dead!!

If you hit a deer and kill it,you can claim the meat thats the best you will get out of the deal.

Just be grateful to not hit one on a motorcycle. I've had friends who had that happen and it was way worse for them.
Just be glad the windshield is hopefully at enough of an angle to keep them out of the interior.

An old Ford Econoline van was not thusly constructed, and the deer seemed to take offense at being stuffed into the vehicle--and those little buggers have very sharp hooves.

Just be glad it wasn't an elk or moose.

Well, possibly, but in that case, the airbag probably protects the moose more than the driver.

Unfortunately, lighting up rural roads like a movie set to spot the deer, moose, elk tends to draw a bit of unwanted attention. Worse, it is almost impossible to just hit ONE elk...

Re: I hate deer

Atleast they are taking care of your vehicle and repairing it the right way instead of doing a shotty job and having to deal with it later on down the road. I had a shop do that with my Mach 1 mustang. It took 3 months but they did a damn good job.
