Re: I love Zaino! Finished detailing my Mineral Grey.

Long story short... traded my white WK2 for a grey WK2 today. Manufacture date is 2/7/12.... back in the day had to wait one month before waxing,,, cold weather would extend the wait. Is that still true?? I want to wax, but dont wanna f it up... thanks!

Re: I love Zaino! Finished detailing my Mineral Grey.

WOW that looks incredible!!!!!! Only Zaino products I have used are the leather in a bottle leather conditioner which is great. As much as love Zaino it is sooooooo much work with all the different hings you have to apply, but the results sure are amazing! Zaino is a hugely popular thing over with the Corvette guys too!

Re: I love Zaino! Finished detailing my Mineral Grey.

actually i thought the same thing about Zaino being a PITA - there website is confusing and makes it a lot diffcult than it really is.

AIO x1, Z2 and/or Z5 x1.

Or even easier is just Z-CS and then the Spray to add shine (black bottle) can't remember the #.

I had looked at using Zaino before, just seemed too complicated. I went back and looked at their site after your post and left with the same thought. I'm not exactly a novice with non retail detailing products either.

don't blame you, i went back and forth for over a year before i bought into zaino about 3 years ago. just ignore the Z/FX system, you don't really need it.

klasse aio and sg works just as nice.

zaino looks difficult from the website is because it looks like it's still from the 1990's.

i love the candy shell look of zaino and klasse

on black it is amazing, my brilliant black metallic BMW 335i

The Mineral Grey looks great with the Saddle. I have white with Saddle and think the Gray makes the Saddle look rich. I also use Zaino Products. Good Work.

Re: I love Zaino! Finished detailing my Mineral Grey.

As, the 335 is awesome, nice finish as well. I have used the leather in a bottle, good stuff.

So, in the Zaino line, what would you suggest I use to replace some of my "fall back to"? For a full detail:

Wash with Dawn.
Claybar
Paint correction with Poorboys SSR1 through SSR4 with Porter Cable.
Two coats of sealant, either Poorboys EX or Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection.
Once coat P21S Wax.

After hand washing I use Finnish Kare 425 or Clear Kote Vanilla Moose Detail Spray weekly.

Re: I love Zaino! Finished detailing my Mineral Grey.

^^^ Zaino AIO is always a good first step if your paint doesn't really need any correcting. Then follow by Z-CS is stupid easy to apply, wipe on and that's it. Finish it off with Z-8.

you can definitely layer those from the picture above, not waiting between coats.
