The 14s and some 15s came with gray bezels until the Altitude III was released mid year 2015.
It's an easy fix for those that came gray.

Yeap i noticed blc i met with another 15 owner and his was grey. I guess mine is a late production 15 when they switched over to the gloss black. Simple wrapping fixes it but I'm glad mine came gloss black already.

Looks great, like the red a lot. Got a '15 silver Altitude myself.
The gray tail bezels don't bother me too much right now since they kind'a blend in with the silver paint.....but probably swap them out soon for black ones.

Thanks. The red you don't see too often, so it's nice to stand out a bit. I always get compliments on the color everywhere I go.

The grey bezels never made sense to me. They blacked everything else out and they had the black ones on the srt, so not sure why they spent more money on another color. Would have been easier/cheaper to go with the black from the beginning. Looks much better in black now.

Re: Jeepfreak86's 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude Journal

Hey guys,

I am wanting to put some new wheels and tires on the Jeep and looking for something of the off road flavor. I enjoy the look where the wheels are past the fenders with aggressive tires, although nothing too crazy.

I am having trouble finding 18x9 wheels with an offset around 12-18. I don't want to go to 0 as I feel I am going to need more work done than I am wanting to do. I would be looking to add the RRO Level kit up front for more clearance, but that is about it. All the wheels out there seem to be too tacky for me. I am a fan of the method NV's and pro comp 7032's, but I don't think they come in the size I am looking for. Any recommendations?

The Altitude III, with the gloss black bezels, also has the darker red lenses much like, if not the same as, the SRT tails. (I just installed a set on mine)

When you installed bulbs where they difficult to line up beam properly ? The reason I asked is recently installed new bulbs and lights are not on center and the beams are shining off to sides more than in the middle. When installed they would only go on one way !

Installing bulbs won't require a need for any adjustments. Only time when you need to align the cutoff is when you are doing retrofits or lowering/raising the Jeep.

It sounds to me that your bulbs are not seated properly, which is causing the light to go to the side and not forward.
