Oh yeah I guess I forgot about mentioning those lol. They are installed, and I did what I feel is a much nicer install than I did on my Summit. I was going to update my V3 thread with my new installation technique. In a nutshell I accessed everything from under the bumper and all the V3 parts are installed Behind the bumper and are easily accessible from below. What I didn't like about my Summit install and doing it from the top was having to pull the bumper back a bit and having to mount some of the V3 components to the tail light itself. I had to lengthen the wires that go from the V3 control module to the bulb itself, but that was easy enough, and now the only thing going up to the tail light is the connector to the LED bulb and nothing more. The V3 resistor is mounted cleanly on a nice flat metal surface that's actually part of the hitch. It's like a perfect shelf for it. The harness and adapter are secured to other factory wiring behind the bumper.
Here is a picture of the V3 module and harness. I had to lengthen to wires that connect to the LED so that these parts can be mounted further away behind the bumper and not on the tail light:
Here is the bulb installed and LED connector wire attached. Nothing else required at the lamp as everything is mounted down below. Now the install looks stock at the lamp:
Here is a picture looking up from under the Jeep. This is looking up from right around the exhaust tip area. Resistor is mounted on a flat surface on the top of the hitch, control module is mounted on a flat surface above the bumper reflector, and the harness and adapters are secured to existing wires and harnesses behind the bumper. Sorry it's not the best picture, it's all I could really do:
