I just ordered a set and I'm swapping the oem projectors with FXR projectors. Huge difference in output and color

Sad how many parts I have right now and the Jeep isn't even built yet

How much for the lights?

Re: Limited - Altitude

Finally got a chance to get this all hooked up and snap a couple pics. SRT8 headlights running on a custom harness from Jeep_addicted. The harness is still in the beta testing mode, so not readily available. A couple minor issues still to be worked out but getting really close. The only issue I have is hyperflashing of the turn signals when the engine is running, works perfectly when the engine is off. I'll take and post a short video once that has been corrected. Also added the tow hooks and a 22" LED spot behind the lower grill.

Re: Limited - Altitude

How does the harness hook up? Is it difficult? a lot of grounds / mounting points? any resistors?

Re: Limited - Altitude

Install was pretty easy. The harness has matching connectors for all of the oem bubs, except the corner marker lights, that one goes unused, the corner markers in the SRT8 headlight draw power form the turn signal feed. Bumper removal is straight forward, there is a really good video on youtube.

Other than matching up the connectors, the only other thing you need to do is run one wire to a +12v source, 3 grounds, and a fuse tap to a 10amp fuse. (I used the DRL fuse). There are several resistors and controllers that need to be mounted with two way tape.
Correy is sending me a fix for the remaining issue, hopefully this week. If that works, I would guess he will start filling his standing orders then moving on to new orders.
This one is set up for almost full oem function. DRL's when running, DRL's dim when headlights cone on, DRL's off when corresponding turn signal activated. You do lose the ability to turn the DRL's on or off through the EVIC, but that's no big deal to me.

Re: Limited - Altitude

Quick question when you get a chance. What's the easiest way to remove the 2 rivets from the fender liner that are on the front of the wheel arch?

I have the tool to replace them but do u drill them out or cut the head off? Or do they pop out with a screw driver?

I wedged a trim tool in there to pry it out a bit and cut with a pair of large wire cutters. At least that was the plan. 3 of the 4 popped out when I was prying them.
