Limited - Altitude

I picked up my '14 Limited in Max Steel just about two months ago. I went to the dealer set on an Altitude but decided I really wanted the back up camera, 9 speaker stereo, and leather interior. That and I was able to get a better deal on the Limited since they had more than a few on the lot. Now that the axle issues are behind me, both have been replaced, it's time to start converting to the Altitude appearance. Plus a few other things.

I have all the black emblems on order, they shipped today and should be here next week. I have an appointment next week with the vinyl guys to wrap all of the other chrome pieces in gloss black. I'm also waiting for OE Wheels to get the gloss black 20's back in stock. Have a set of Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo's on backorder as well (275/55R20).

While I'm waiting for those things to come in, I went ahead and installed the black honeycomb grille, Xenondepot Xtreme HID kit (5000k) and 5000k LED fogs, and a set of Bora 1.25" spacers.

Once all the emblems, wheels, tires, etc. are on, I will be ordering body colored mirrors and door handles. I'm also considering a set of SRT or Overland HID/LED headlights, not sure about that yet.

Here are a couple pics so far, not much but will be updated as I go along.

Re: Limited - Altitude

You are aware the the Altitude now comes with backup camera and 9 speaker stereo and has always had leather interior?

..and you got a better deal on the limited but going to spend how much converting it to an Altitude?

I am aware that it is available now. Two months ago it was not. The interior leather is quite different as well.

I'm also sure the kids will appreciate the heated second row seats. I know I will like the heated steering wheel as well. Not to mention, QTII, Selec-Terrain, and rear park assist (I didn't think that was a big deal until I started using it). Not sure if any of those are available on the Altitude but, they were not on any of the models I looked at. I got the Limited for 32, they wouldn't go below 33.5 for the Altitude. The changes I'm making come in just over 2k some of which would have been done to the Altitude as well. (lights, tires, spacers, vinyl wrap window trim).

Hehe. I love these conversion threads. Heated steering wheel was always standard for the Altitude. Park sensors are now added along with the above mentioned from MOFSTEEL.

Good job getting the Limited for that price.

Now that they are including the backup camera and park sense, did they upgrade the head unit? It's funny, you still can't add any of those features if you build one on Jeep.com.

I am a repeat customer at that dealership. I bought my Ram there 7 years ago and my wife got her Durango there three weeks before I got the GC. Still think they could have done better but feel I did ok.

+1 Even the 4x2 is 36,500 so unless it was used there is no way you paid 32k.

Visually I can see you have the 20" wheels which are $1595 and living in Jersey im thinking you bought the 4x4 which brings you to 41,085 retail.

Window trim and chrome pieces have been wrapped in black gloss vinyl. Chrome badges have been replaced.
