Maximum Steel Altitude with Attitude Build Thread

Here is my new maximum steel Altitude. I opted for 4x2 with the Hemi cause it will never see any offroading but will be towing in the future. It also has the 430n and tow package. Its going in next week to get some headrest monitors and tint on the front windows.

I'll keep updating this thread with new pictures and updates on my current mods.

Great looking Jeep congrats! Not sure how it would be possible to install headrest monitors with the design of these seats, but that will be interesting. Just get the kids a couple ipads and be done with it, then there is no reason to tear into your new Jeep (probably cheaper too) :) The more pics I see the more I like Max Steel.

Looks very nice. If you don't have the panoramic sunroof, you might want to consider an overhead DVD player. Integrated or replacement headrests will not work due to being "active" (airbags). Any other headrest monitors will be a strap or clamp-on, look like an afterthought, and be tempting to thieves.

The headliner is too flimsy to place overhead monitors on even if you have only the normal sunroof.

These monitors will be secure enough that it will take time to remove the clamps from the post. 90% of the vehicle break ins in my area are due to owners not locking their doors and when the thieves do get in, they take only small items and items not secured down.

looks good!

Ipad attached to the pano roof (suction mount) works great when we run movies for the kids in the back. It's also nice to be able to stream audio using blue tooth, if desired.

Nice color.

Never saw or really even heard of a 2x4 Jeep, however. Seems counterintuitive, at least to those of us who see bad weather from time to time.
I don't know where your located at but in So Cal I see tons of 4x2 Jeeps. We hardly need 4x4 here even when it snows in the mountains. Unless you have certain hobbies, it's pointless to opt for it.

beautiful car! Thee dealer i went to had this color and a bright silver available. Went with the bright silver because it had more options! Your pics are starting to make me regret my choice...lol. You said the dvd player is controlled by the 430 n? is it hard wired to the system or are the wires visible and plugged in somewhere? My kids don't let me enjoy my satellite radio! I need a dvd player for them!

That's funny cause I would of preferred white or silver but my dealer didn't have them with the Hemi and options I wanted.

I used the factory DVD player in the 430n and a lockpick type module to send the video source to the two monitors. It's all hard wired in with the wires hidden in the seats through the leather by the posts. Looks very factory. There's a thread in the audio section.

Thanks for the compliments.

Trim was wrapped with 3m gloss black vinyl. Taillights are Lamin-X 12% film. The Jeep only has 1k miles on it so thats the stock wax, whatever it is. I'll take some better quality pics in a few days.

A long time friend of mine has a tint/stereo shop. The tails, window trim and front air-dam trim consumed an entire day for him. He commented that I am lucky we are friends or he would of charged a lot for the trim due to the difficulty.

Here are some better pics. Not sure if I want to black out the Altitude mesh grill or leave it. It kinda matches the headlights. Also, excuse my shorts and sandals, it's classic So Cal weather. :D

I'm waiting for some better lowering options come out. Maybe Mopar springs or coilovers? I will also add some 22's when I can find a set that I like. I come from the import scene and would love to find an aggressive offset wheel that fills out that wheel well. I might add some spacers to these wheels for the time being. Also some black lug nuts.

Thanks for the side pics! That color is insane in different light. Looks real good blacked out. Can't believe it came with silver lugs
