Edit: the SEMA WK2 does have the chrome surrounding the windows. I viewed some more pics as well as the YouTube walkaround and you can see the chrome much better.

The thing about charcoal grey is that its very dark..... and it doesn't look as good as black. If you have to clean it all the time you might as well get a black one!

Don't get me wrong I love Charcoal but Black is sexy too. The Sema Jeep looks lighter than this:

That makes this jeep look 10x better than with black plastic and ebay grand cherokee batching.

Charcoal on the top, the Mineral Gray from SEMA on the bottom.

Posting one more of charcoal to compare on the screen with the sema jeep, it looks a lot darker than the mineral photos posted in this thread to me, maybe its my monitor.

Ahhhh, remember the days when GC and Cherokees, limited versions, had the body color throughout? Then all of a sudden Jeep went on a chrome binge. Solid color looks classy.

The SEMA jeep is definitely not mineral grey. It is dark charcoal it just looks so much lighter under the lights. If it isn't then it is in between the two colors.

Are u kidding me or color blind ? Because that is definitely Mineral gray at the SEMA show, just because it was mistakenly announced as Charcoal by the media doesnt mean it is.

Re: Mineral Gray Metallic is here (pics inside)!

Really??I am not going by what anyone says it is. Clearly by the pictures it is way darker than Mineral Grey. Look at the last two postings it is the same color in the bright sun as Dark Charcoal. Those lights used in the car shows are as bright as sunlight so the mineral grey would be almost silver looking.

Look it isn't even as light as the mineral grey in the shade.

And one more with my Dark Charcoal under a 250W light against the SEMA truck. Its the same color.

Agreed - I think the chrome was overdone particularly on the side mirrors. I will probably paint match those on mine, and was also thinking of doing a gloss black front grill instead of color match, if i go with black wheels that is. And the SEMA jeep is advertised as dk charcoal, I think the lighting is confusing some into thinking it's mineral gray.
