Look it isn't even as light as the mineral grey in the shade.

And one more with my Dark Charcoal under a 250W light against the SEMA truck. Its the same color.

What you're failing to account for is that the sun washes out the color on your pictures so it makes the Dark Charcoal appear lighter. But on the SEMA pics, not only the lights but also the extreme glossy wax job actually make the Mineral Gray look much darker. Dark Charcoal with that wax job and under those lights would pretty much appear black.

Re: Mineral Gray Metallic is here (pics inside)!

Mmmmm K. So if that holds true I guess the other jeep in the background must be pink with a really good wax job so it looks red? Its the inferno red lighten by the light. Plus if it were mineral grey the caravan in the background as well is the same color. They do not even have plans to make the caravan in that color.....very interesting everything points to dark charcoal.

It must be that everyone is hoping this is mineral grey? Not sure why since it is way lighter than this. Guess until we get someone that was actually at the show, it will be personal opinion.

Guess this one being brand new is missing this mysterious wax job.

Re: Mineral Gray Metallic is here (pics inside)!

I was 99% sure the SEMA was dark charcoal b/c that's how it was advertised UNTIL I saw this pick of the new Summit Edition Jeep in another thread. The only shade of gray available in the Summit Edition is Mineral Gray (dk charcoal is not an option). To me, the Summit and the SEMA Street both look the same color!!

Who knows what it is at this point, I just can't wait to get mine hopefully by Thanksgiving! You can see a little of the saddle in the Summit pic, i think it looks like a great contrast with that exterior color. Starting to wish I went saddle instead of light frost....

Thanks a million for those pics!! To see it in clear sunlight, as opposed to the super pro-lighted marketing photos, just seals the deal for me too. Awesome find!

Thanks for the extra pics. You like the photoshop? Color match the grill or stick with chrome?

In the closeup, I actually like the color match better!

Re: Mineral Gray Metallic is here (pics inside)!

Actually had my eye on this when it was an "in transit" vehicle and went over to see it last weekend - probably right after you - but did not take pics then... I wish it had some upgrades as well. It was the first one on a lot within 100 miles of Bucks County that was "live".

There's another one back in receiving/prep, but it looks to be a LaredoX - if it was an Overland, I would have purchased on site (but it probably would have been sold before arrival). It was geting too dark to take any more pics.

I definitely feel the Mineral Gray is the richest in that side of the color schemes - Dk.Charcoal, Bright Silver, Mineral Gray, and even White Gold.

BTW - the white gold is actually very nice in person, but not my style. Certainly a much richer paint than a neutral tan/gold minivan - and I'm not just saying that since I'm now in my 40's

Shamelessly ripped from Jeep2011's post over in the Summit thread, here's a video of a Mineral Gray Summit from LA car show:

Please tell me after seeing the Mineral Gray Overland Summit video that we can all now agree that the SEMA Jeep is definitely MG. They are clearly the same color.
