Re: Mineral Gray Overland has arrived!

Congrats! You made a good decision in waiting it out for this color and trim.

Can you post an interior shot soon - I'm assuming it is black on black.

(I was hoping to have one by now, but the dealer wouldn't honor TreadLightly.)

EDIT - re: interior - I didn't look close enough to the pics. It is Lt/Dk Frost and not black.

Very nice....and you got beige interior. That's a sweet combo.

Re: Mineral Gray Overland has arrived!

[QUOTE=tank47;307174]Picked up the jeep last night and it's awesome! Like everyone has said before, totally worth the wait. I've been the most impressed with the 430N, probably because I had such low expectations. Connected via bluetooth to my Droid x right away and i was streaming my music and pandora on the ride home, it was very easy. Tried a quick USB download of some music, which was also simple and connected my ipod nano and it worked right away. Also the Garmin nav has been excellent, the graphics are not nearly as bad as I thought they would be and I quickly changed my nav symbol to my jgc! Also - I knew you couldn't type in addresses while moving, but you can select POI's while driving, which I think is more than good enough, and the map was up to date (found my house which isn't on my portable nav - new development).

Enjoy the pics!

Like I tell you guys all the time, interior trim is limited to a headliner when it passes through my station. It did have a sunroof though. No instrument panel, seats, etc. It had some electrical wires though! Oh and a fuel filler tube, no gas tank though. No headlights, drivetrain, they had already taken the doors off....

Marlon - I was hoping to find a little something that you may have left behind...still searching LOL!! Thanks for being a part in building this awesome vehicle.

Thanks for all your positive comments. I will say that I initially felt they overdid the chrome, but once I actually took delivery I don't really mind it in person, and I love that front grill in chrome and the side chrome almost blends in somewhat with the paint, at least to a point where I don't think it really stands out.

Will post some interior pics soon, bad weather here today.

Re: Mineral Gray Overland has arrived!

Congrats on your new JGC. I am in the process of trying to locate an Overland in this color w/the new saddle/black interior and will be willing to fly across country to pick it up and drive it home! But more likely I'll order it from one of my local dealers and wait (salivate) for it like everyone else...

Re the color, this is my favorite on just about any vehicle. This shade of gray catches the light like no other IMO, and does a great job of looking clean all the time. I've had a Grand Cherokee, an Expedition, a Jaguar, and a Range Rover in this color and I don't even mind any more when my wife and kids give me a hard time.

Enjoy your new ride!!
