Hated to let the wrangler go, but it went from fun vehicle to daily driver with the new job and with two kids and weekend travel for sports, it just wasn't getting it done. My first choice was white but this was the only one around in a base Laredo with 4wd. The color is growing on me now, especially after removing the chrome strips and putting on my old Sahara wheels and tires. They really fill up the fender better and have a little more agressive tread. I also put the prostreet muffler from the Wrangler on. It sounds pretty good on the v6, deeper rumble than stock but not too loud and no drone at all. I also put the Kenwood H.U., speakers, and powered sub from the Wrangler in. This thing drives great! Brand New
nice jeeps ! i know that feeling but the GC will definitely grow on you in a different sort of way then a wrangler . Its a way more comfortable ride, lol
That is a really nice color. Of course now that I decided on a Summit, I think I'll be looking at the Overland again. Between selecting options and colors, it's hard matching what I want.
Why does Jeep not allow any color on any trim level?
True, although two of the colors that (as of now -- again, nothing has been finalized apparently) won't be available on the 2014 Laredos, True Blue and Max Steel, are/were available on the 2012 and 2013 Laredos...
I was on the website looking at the packages, and thinking about a future purchase. I was also really let down when I found out white isn't available on the higher models. I really envisioned a sparkling clean white WK2 with everything I wanted in it oh well. Back to the drawing board.
Thanks for the compliments. I am missing the JK less every time I drive the GC! Removing the chrome was a 15 minute process with a hair dryer and a little fishing line. My buddy has a black Overland and I think the chrome looks good on his with the door handles and mirrors.
I wish that would have been an option, but I just couldn't justify another car payment to have an "extra" car. It sure was fun though, especially when it snowed and the kids wanted to hit the trails.
