Thanks ...no spacers. Just mount and enjoy.

What kind of mpg are you getting with the tires? just wondering If they decrease the mpg based on being larger and having an aggressive tread.

Re: MOFSTEEL's JGC Altitude OEM + Build thread

Some updates:

Thanks to one of the other members for discovering this drop in rubber mat for the center console. Part # 68090826AA

I also picked up the backup camera kit part # 82213884 and installed the wiring loom myself. I had already purchased another brow and swapped out the camera portion with the brow on my Jeep. FYI the kit comes with a brow that's unpainted but you can just do what I did and separate the two pieces and swap. (See below pic 1)

After I installed the new harness, which took me several hours and entailed removing about 1/3 of my interior, the radio functions on my steering wheel didnt work. I made an appointment to bring it into my dealer and they found out Jeep needs to add an additional step to in the install. So if you purchased this kit I'd suggest bringing the harness to your dealer to get it installed. Jeep paid for 2 hrs of troubleshooting and resolving the issue. I'm glad I went with the OEM kit because any issues will covered going forward.

In the end I now have a functional backup camera. (See below pic 2)

Awesome upgrades. By the way I finally got my 2015 altitude in. Your jeep inspired me a lot. I will make some small tasteful mods as well. Going to order that rubber part ASAP.

Question: what tire pressures are you running at?

Re: MOFSTEEL's JGC Altitude OEM + Build thread

That center console mat is my next addition. Thanks for pointing that out.

As for the camera install, you probably missed something. If you run the wires, power the camera and add the sales code, it will work. Yes it is timing consuming, but I compare this installation to an amp install. Besides my JGC, I've already done another for a guy locally that I met at the dealer. The second time it took me an hour and half(he helped me remove the brow, so that saved me 20 minutes).

Anyways I'm glad to see your rig is up and running. I was browsing on eBay and saw your camera(with the MOF Steel mug) so I was wondering if you gave up on the install.

I didn't miss anything. The camera was working perfectly but the radio controls on the steering wheel were inop. Dealer tech called support but he ended up finding the issue and Jeep admitted there was an error in their harness so they covered the cost of labor.

I dont need the unpainted brow that I received in the kit since I previously picked up a brow that I used to swap out for camera so it's for sale.
