Come on now...if you really look at that vehicle, it's not all that different from any other WK2. It has mud tires on it, but the rest is just blacked out panels/wheels and red accents. Other than the tires, there's really nothing to make me believe it wouldn't behave like any other WK2 on the road.

So your going to base that vehicle on looks entirely? What makes you believe nothing else has been modified for off road capability over a normal WK2??

Question is why they put a garmin nav on the side of the a pillar when the car has one built in also?

I know you're not the brightest bulb in the pack, but when we look at pics of that vehicle and have no written description about its modifications, then we can only get our information visually. That said, what makes you believe that anything else HAS been modified on that WK2? Do you have some kind of insider knowledge? If so, tell us all what has been modified beyond what we can see in the pictures. And then tell us how those mods would make it on the pavement. Until you do that, your post is once again pointless.

What suspension? What did they do to the suspension? How do you know it's not a stock suspension? And those tires look an awful lot like the tires you can get on a new Wrangler Rubicon. I know you're a street guy (obviously), so I'm guessing that you've never owned a vehicle that had mud tires on it. As long as they aren't grossly oversized, they generally don't make a vehicle a "dog" at all. The tires in those pictures look to be about the same overall diameter at the stock tires, so they wouldn't make that Jeep a dog at all....at the most, they'd be a bit louder on the road due to their tread pattern.

Re: More pics of an "Offroad" WK2

ohhhh I dont know.......It says "offroad edition" and had a board describing its lifted parts(springs).....so one would assume it has an offroad suspension...which suck onroad and handle like pigs...which is where it would be 99% of the time. And yes I have driven rigs with tires similar to those and they are noisy and dont handle worth a crap.....even in everyday driving. One of my coworkers has a f150 with tires very similar or the same and it sounds like a jet plane going down interstate from the tire roar. No thanks

What board are you talking about?

I asked if you've ever owned a vehicle with tires like that, not if you've ever driven one. Everybody had a "friend" who has one. Until you own one and live with one, you're just basing your experiences off of other people's vehicles.

And BTW, even if it has taller springs, that doesn't mean it won't have a decent on-road ride. Don't be such a noob....lol. You're just making assumptions that it's not good on the street.

I agree almost any mud tire, and even most snow tires have a lot more road noise. No thanks!

Its an off-road edition..do you honestly think they are going to put tires on it and call it a day? Give your head a shake. I think you're the one whos lightbulb is turned off.
