Some may know, I could not find a WK2 configured the way I wanted and my dealer, well let's say he was useless. I ended up calling a dealer in Boston and bought her over the phone, using UPS to complete the paperwork. The delivery charge was $450, completely worth it in my opinion.

Blackberry/Black, V8, Overland, 730N, Chrome Pkg, Adaptive Cruise, Summit Grill (I had dealer install it from Just for Jeeps). Came off the truck with 8 mi.

Steve
You had it UPS'd? I learn something new everytime I'm on this site!

I live near Ft. Reno, between Connecticut and Wisconsin.

I'm seeing more WK2s on the road. Tonight a Blackberry Overland, same as mine, and I drove up Rock Creek Pkwy. I could not stop looking at it.

Hey Steve
Just reading your thread......we had the same issue here in Brisbane (Australia), in late July dealers could not get me an Overland and pushed to get me into other models they had in stock. Like you I looked outside the square, immediately called a dealer in Sydney, he quoted me the VIN of an Inferno Red Overland that was on a vessel and due to arrive Sydney late August. I too have arrange for a car carrier to transport from Sydney to Brisbane (A$550.00), it's scheduled to be here in the first week of September.

Folks, if your dealer can't give YOU what YOU want, search outside of your local area or State. It's your investment and you should always dig in and get what you want rather what a dealer has on his / her inventory does the hard sell on something you're not happy with.
