Re: My 2012 Overland SRT Hybrid

Awesome! Thank you so much for the quick reply...
Looks like the body kit is out of stock
I hope they get them in soon.

Also, last question... who was the ebay seller you got yours from?
I know there are a lot of cheap ones out there on the market.

Thanks again

I got them from stockwheelsolutions because he was the only seller at the time that was selling the 20x8.5 wheels others were 10in and 9.5 in wide. Being my stock tire is a 20x8 I thought the 8.5 width would be the best fit. The rims are decent, had to get them balanced a couple times due to steering wheel vibrations but haven't had an issue since. The color on their reps are also a little brighter than stock. Its the hyper silver color instead of that smokier color. I would talk to Chad first and see what he has in stock.

Man that is awesome. Last time I saw your Jeep is when it still had the Summit grille on it. The Altitude grille really did make it your own.... I thought I had subscribed to this because I loved your "personal mix". This thread definitely needs resurrected because it's such an awesome take on an Overland and SRT...

Granite Crystal Metallic. May not have the Jeep, but I'll still drop in and keep up with the news.

Looks great I would replace the chrome jeep logo with black. I did that to the front of my 2012 Altitude and it looks awesome.

In looking at the front pix I was wondering what the round lens looking device is where the license plate goes

Not a Fan of the exhaust tips, they look like Funnels.
Just my opinion.

is this a new fad? turning black/dark trucks all one color? I remember when chrome used to be a option and cost an arm/leg and tell everyone bam! I'm a baller cause I got my truck with chrome accents.

The round lens or "eye" is the sensor for the adaptive cruise control.

I think when trying to give a sportier look, it helps to remove some of the chrome. I do like the chrome in certain areas, but thought the chrome on the doors and rear brow was a little much. It's funny because the 2014 models pretty much de-chromed all the areas I had to do manually on mine.

That's because the designers and decision makers at Chrysler/Jeep read jeepgarage.org!
