Re: My 2015 GC High Altitude

A couple pics I snapped this morning. I'm thinking I might take the grey off the grille.

I've got a set of BORA spacers that I'm going to put on tomorrow.

Looks so great with the grey contrast! I think it will look great either way.

I really like the wrap and wouldn't mind doing something like that in black because I don't really like the trivalent chrome. Just not sure where or how to go about doing it.

Re: My 2015 GC High Altitude

Hi there - have the SAME GC as you - NICE !!! I also wrapped the chrome window trim - not sure why its the bright chrome instead of black but it is now !!!

You are sayng you are adding BORA spacers - what size and what tires are you upgrading to ?? I also want a bigger beefier tire myself but not sure with the Quadra Lift suspension - I assume you have the same ???

I added the 1.25" BORA spacers, though they're not on in the above photos. 1.25" seems to be the most popular size for the GC, and now that they're on, I can see why. There are lots of pics before/after pics here on the forum. I'll try to take some decent shots soon. I like the look with the spacers, but now I need to get a set of mudflaps because I've already noticed more spray from the tires on the sides of the Jeep. I am not changing the tires.

Re: My 2015 GC High Altitude

Here's a quick photo with the 1.25" BORA spacers and some functional roof rails installed.

I really like how the spacers look, even though it's subtle. Much needed, in my opinion. I'm glad to have the functional roof rails now too, as the trim rails are silly. Sure, these rails are silver and I've wrapped all the rest of the silver and trivalent chrome on the Jeep, but I'm not going to bother trying to make the rails match. I don't mind how they stand out, and anything that I did to them (wrap, plastidip, powder coat), would probably take a beating as soon as I started using the rails, so they're going to stay silver.

So, now my High Altitude looks even less like a High Altitude than before.

Do you have a photo from the back or front (straight shot) so that it shows how much the tires stick out?

No, but there are plenty of people running the same spacers here with before & after pics.

To each his own. I couldn't stand the trivalent plastic trim.

Like the look - just not sure I am going with the 1.25 as they seem out pretty far and as you said the spray will be a lot more on the sides of the GC. I will have to do some looking to see what others look like - back to stalking the form all day

I bought the same roof rails but have held off putting them on as now I am seeing there are other bars that can mount to the black trim already there so trying to deside to spend the $$$ again ( will sell the chrome ones ) but they are a lot more
