Bushwhacker flares? Or do the summit? Flares do anything worthy

Re: My JGC 2012 black on black build up

here how it stands with the front leveling and the 0.75" rear spacer.

I am not sure yet if I will keep the rear spacers. I kinda prefer when it was leveled. The 0.75" spacers gave about 1" of lift. Dont know why, but it did.

I think I like it better with the rear spacer - but it's your jeep and you've done it right so far so keep it up!

It's weird how the front wheel isn't centred in the fender opening. I never noticed that before.

Could it be because the struts have a rake angle and when you lift it, the front wheel goes further forward?

Cheers,
Ollie

i dont know.. honestly first time i notice it.

Look at this stock one.. its the same. I think its more obvious with bigger tires and lift

Re: My JGC 2012 black on black build up

I think the wheel well gives an illusion of non centered. If u looks at how the it's shaped the rear cut has more like a 70* and the front is like 80* cut angle

Re: My JGC 2012 black on black build up

There is a 0.8-9" difference with the spacer

Re: My JGC 2012 black on black build up

wow, impressive effort, looks good. I'm sure you're tempted by the 22s, but I've always liked your current wheels. They have sort of muscular looking spokes.
btw, how did you "black out" the side mirrors? Did you paint them? If so, how'd that go?

impressive effort, looks good.
btw, how did you "black out" the chrome side mirrors? Did you actually paint them? If so, how'd that go?
(sorry if you already answered that)
