The trick with NXT is to let it sit for as long as possible to set up, as its a synthetic sealant. I usually try to let it set up for a few hours in the garage, and it can last 4-6 months provided you wash it and either spray wax or use a wash&wax in one for upkeep every few weeks.
A lot of people don't get the best results with it because they don't give it time to adhere properly, they use it like a carnauba and try to get it on and off as fast as possible.
3M Performance finish sealant also is a very durable and decent looking sealant for on wheels. I use it on the wifey's ride when I know it won't be washed/waxed for a long time because I won't be around.
Will have to look into the Collinite stuff. Sounds like it could work out well on her Outlander.
