It is the 430N. I like it, but I haven't been able to get some features such as the hands free texting to work. I really like have the Garmin system since I was already use to it from the portable systems.

Re: My New Overland (Pictures)

The designers should be shot for allowing switch blanks in such a high end interior.

Re: My New Overland (Pictures)

You could have optioned everything, and then possibly fill out the blanks some more! Let's wait to see what will work in those spots later on. There could be some decent add-ons to come in the future as accessories.

Re: My New Overland (Pictures)

I'm sure the Tech package will fill the blanks, but it would have been easy and inexpensive to make a couple of variations of the switch trim plates to avoid the blanks regardless of options selected.

Beautiful attention to detail everywhere, why drop the ball on something so obvious?

Re: My New Overland (Pictures)

I think that's just standard practice. If not, they would need to make many different switch panels at the bottom of the center stack. Look through the manual and you'll see that the pics show several blanks for those that don't have the prescibed options. Can't remember what the blank is used for on the radio bezel though.

I asked about this during the chat and the engineers answered that the switch blank is for the rear HVAC on the upcoming Durango.

Re: My New Overland (Pictures)

Ah, that makes sense, but correct, it's a shame they didn't just produce a Jeep and Durango set.
