Looks good! Have you installed a catch can yet? Have you found any tuning options?

Hi, I've not fitted a catch can yet, I'm going to wait and see if it fails as its under warranty and as with my old 300c, adding stuff that you know it needs only causes trouble if you have a problem, explaining how and why it needs it to someone who knows nothing about cars.

Tuning wise, there's nothing, I spoke to four different companies and they all say the ECU needs to be removed and opened up to perform the remap, with a truck that's only 7 months old I would rather not do this as if there is a warranty problem and they see its been opened then it will cause trouble, they also said they carn't hide the remap on the ECU so even if they perform a diagnostics check it will show whereas on some cars it can be hidden.

I think when the diesel gets to the US the bigger companies like Banks will get in to the ECU via the ODB port and do it properly.

Cheers, Rob

Re: New Limited S

what's the price of diesel where you are? here it is $1.29 (Canadian$ per litre) or about $5.85 (Canadian$ per Imperial gallon). I think that is about 3.63 pound sterling for an Imperial gallon.

Re: New Limited S

Diesel is now 1.61 a litre or 7.31 a gallon, I'm lucky as I own a family business and I get free diesel, your looking around the same for petrol, which is why there not importing the SRT8 here and reason I couldn't have a big petrol car. I'm don't want to rant but it is bloody ridiculous the price we have to pay compared to other countries.

ChryslerJeep are still bringing the SRT-8 here, just not the other petrol engines GC's. My dealer had an SRT-8 in the showroom and its was sold within a week. You can get Petrol engines GC, but on special order only. I saw a 2013 5.7 V8 HEMI on Auto trader.

Love your GC looks bad ass!! Red is rapidly growing on me. How easy/hard was it to lower it?

Re: New Limited S

Hi, I have seen the SRT8 on autotrader but I was under the impression that they wouldn't be officially importing them, I would love to have one but I do 20000+ miles a year and it just wouldn't be financially viable, that and I get free diesel.

Thanks for your comments, I'm happy with how she's looking now but replacing the plasti dip is wearing thin on me now, I need to find someone to vinyl wrap them.

Lowering is easy, I did a small write up below, for the fronts I just straightened the rod.0

All I would say is, 1/4" out the back will bring it level, then whatever else you cut out just add the same amount to the front and it will drop the whole car level.

Lowering / Levelling QL

Cheers, Rob

Officially available in the U.K., and listed/spec'd in the 2014 UK sales brochure.

Re: New Limited S

You don't pay for fuel! Have you any job openings lol

I love the S-Limited as its very similar to SRT-8, and yours is lowered so it looks even more like SRT-8.

How long did your pastidip last before you have to reapply it?

Re: New Limited S

I do love the look and the extras of the Limited S but sometimes wish I had the Pano roof but then i'd not have the bucket seats and Harmon Kardon speakers.

The plasti dip in places is lasting well but once it starts lifting its not long before it looks a mess, in three months i've has to do the rear drivers side window, drivers door upper window and now after i caught it while cleaning the passenger rear window, its not a huge job to do again but it is still a job that with vinyl i wouldn't have to do.

I'd recommend doing it as it does make difference to the look.

Not having Pano roof is a small price to pay for having the extra SRT-8 kit

I was thinking of plasti dip, but paint will be a more long term, rather than having to keep touching up the plasti dip every so often..

What other modds do you have planned?
