Sorry to hear it's not working for you. I get album art probably 60-70% of the time- both for CD's that were loaded into memory and for mp3's I've transferred via usb. I'm far from an expert on the software- you may want to send 'Sox' a message. He's the guy on the thread that provided the update and seems to have all the answers. Good luck.

Looks great! The tires really improve the look imo

Re: New Tires/ Phone Mount/ Black Rear

Is there any way to install a decent cell phone mount that DOESN'T require cutting retainer clips or drilling out new holes behind the bezel in my '13 Overland? And where do the rest of you keep your phones? Cupholder? Passenger seat? Front pocket? This seems like a pretty basic need, unless you only use payphones and keep a center console full of quarters.

I've been looking for a clean phone mount and finally settled on a universal bracket I bought online. I mounted a holster that fits my blackberry directly to the bracket and am very happy with the setup. Yes, I'm still old school with my bb, but if I ever decide to get an iphone I can simply change the holster and mount it to the same bracket. I obviously like to have my phone visible when I'm cruising. Anyone interested in the mount can find it here:

After seeing a picture from 'rustyosaurus' with his chrome rear bumper step trim replaced wth the black trim, I decided to do the same. I really like the look of the rear with the brow painted and the step all black.

Love this vehicle and this forum! Peace.
Hey that's where I got my jeep! And looks good 👍

Dslide, was the cell mount you purchased the Satellite Radio Universal Dash Mounting Kit?

I think your install is the cleanest I've seen so far with the perfect placement.

Looks awesome! How do they tires feel after almost a year on the vehicle? Also, does the paint on the brow match the color of the jeep?

Yes, it's actually called a universal satellite radio mount but works perfect for a smartphone. The metal is firm but malleable and gives me the position I want for my phone without any vibration while driving. I cut a small piece of the bracket that screws in behind the centerstack to make it fit just the way I wanted. It's very easy to remove the bezel, pop it out, and screw the bracket in where you want. I did end up getting an iphone since I first posted this information, so I simply removed the old holster and added one that accomodates my new phone. The link on the first page takes you right to the mount I bought. I'm really happy with it. Thanks. Few more pictures attached...

Rear brow was painted same color as exterior- brilliant black. Terra Grapplers have been perfect- not a single complaint.

Did you paint the rear step? Purchase a new part? If so can you share the part number? I swapped the rear brow out but haven't decided how I want to address the rear step.

I replaced the chrome step surround with a black plastic one. Sorry but don't have the part number anymore- ordered it from some online Mopar store. Sure if you called Just for Jeeps they could identify it for you. I think it was only about $25 and very easy to install. Another pic of the rear all black...

So do you have the quadralift? I would love that tire in that size and I need to know if that will fit on the QL all the way down. Thanks.
