Newbie WK2 slow build

So i am probably the newest member here, but will admit i have been on the site searching for answers and info and just finally got round to joining. You guys really know your stuff out there i will give you that, so thanks for all the help you didn't even know you provided.

But here's my 12 Laredo, no frills on the inside because it usually got a boxer in there and a muddy kid. Started life as a plain black Laredo with all the ugly chrome trim and chrome capped wheels and has slowly as money and time comes along transformed into something a little better looking.

Future plans are for a lift, remove the door moldings, and then who knows from there. But this my daily as it sits now.

Willy's wrangler rims, or did you paint Rubicons? Looks good so far.

Thanks, busting out the heat gun this week and de-badging and getting those door guards off finally. Have cross bars, safari rack and light bar on the way also. So those will be on as soon as they come in. Then it's time to get that Old Man Emu lift ordered.

That transformation is looking good man,am liking everything you have done, that tire and wheel package really works with your rig.I can see your Boxer in the background, cool Furbaby too, feel for you with him bouncing around in the car,I have two German Shepherds so bought a fitted cover for the back seat, cargo area. One insists on hopping in the front and hitting the horn when I am outta the Jeep.(does it in ALL our cars!!),Anyhoo, will be interested in how the lift kit goes,I see a lot of guys who do that and really looks awesome and gives it that way rugged look.Congrats on a good build and keep up the great work.It all looks good!

Re: Newbie WK2 slow build

1 Big boxer in the back is a load, i can only imagine having two sheps back there. I haven't learned my lesson yet and gotten a cover or anything for the dog so i am constantly brushing fur out of the back and wherever else it flies. I am pretty excited to get all the parts in and get this thing in the air a little bit. Just tired of seeing a thousand WK2's around and they all look alike, mines gonna stand out damnit!!
