Oops I did it again

As some of you know, I first started the Jeep obsession with a 2013 Laredo that I did quite a bit of mods.

ForumRunner_20141127_115126.jpg

I then got the bug and traded that in for a 2014 Limited with the Hemi.

ForumRunner_20141127_115220.jpg

Yes that's me. That truck was cool and had the v8 but didn't have the Lux II package.

I then got the bug one last time and ended up with this...

ForumRunner_20141127_115336.jpg

It's a 2014 Summit. Got a hell of a deal since the 15s are out. Doesn't have the Hemi. However after going from the 6 to the 8 and now the 6 again with the 8 speed, I can honestly say I won't miss it. The rest of the truck makes up for it.

Plus the wife got tired of me slamming the gas pedal.

I'll post some better pics when I get a chance.

I would like to thank Chris at Hawk Jeep (a forum sponsor to boot) for once again taking care of me and helping me with this problem I have LOL

Part of the deal with the wife was that if I do this, I am keeping it until the wheels fall off. I even got the lifetime warranty for it. With that in mind I told myself it was time for a change. I love the red but had a red one and granite side by side and was sold!

Re: Oops I did it again

Conrats. My current 2015 and my former 2011 both use(d) the 6 cylinder engine. I too was surprised at the improved performance going from the 5 speed to the 8 speed transmission. It is hard to believe they are the same engines. The 8 speed keeps it in the power sweet spot longer.

Thanks guys.

By no means am I saying the hemi with 8 speed is the same as the 6 with 8 speed. Cause it was fun driving the Hemi. However for me the 6 with 8 speed has been a surprise like you said. And of course having all the goodies and the style of the summit is awesome!

This bad boy will be babied that's for sure. My kid loves pano roof. She was so excited!

Thank you for the business (again) Jose! The Summit is a great looking truck and I'm glad we were able to make it happen. Looking forward to seeing what you do with this one

Forgive the crappy pic but first mod done.

Had the front wi dows tinted to 35% which with the black interior makes it look darker.
