Anyone else out there with splash guards willing to share a rear photo sooner (of your Jeep )?

I put the splash guards on when I purchased the jeep.
There is a rear picture here http://jeepgarage.org/album.php?albu...&pictureid=891

Re: Pedal Dress Up Kit and Splash Guards

I think I am going to pick up the spash guards. I am amazed how much spray come up off of the stock 20" all over the jeep even in a light rain.

Re: Pedal Dress Up Kit and Splash Guards

Are people only running rear splash guards or front and rear? I do see the front in your pix tinkan. They don't really alter the appearance much and do provide protection

I have the front and rear installed. It really works well for keeping the splash and rocks down. Here you can see the front.

I think they look nice.

Re: Pedal Dress Up Kit and Splash Guards

Took my WK2 in for a rattle in the headliner and they installed my pedals at no charge. Took them only 5 minutes.

I just played dumb and asked how you install them and the service guy was like we can do it for free.

Angry Re: Pedal Dress Up Kit and Splash Guards

I too got the gas pedal on easily but then became so frustrated with the brake pedal that I gave up and threw it in the glove box. It's been there now for about 3 weeks. I'm wondering if you cut angled slits in the rubber corners to get in on... will it still stay firmly in place? If not, it could be a real safety hazard, even causing an accident. If I'm going to use this damn brake pedal, I need a trick that will make it easy to get on and stay on because I'm not going to put myself through another wasted hour of frustration of trying to get it on!

On a positive note... the chrome fog light bezels and splash guards were super easy to install and both look great!

Re: Pedal Dress Up Kit and Splash Guards

Hi, i already cut angled slits and still could not install it. I gave up after an hour and a cut in my hand.

I don't think that it will be a safety hazard since the rubber will still be very firm. However, I admit I'm a bit worried too.
