Pedals and Chrome Foglight inserts pics

Hey Guys just installed the inserts (which were easy). The pedals needed a little more persuasion. Instructions say soak the brake pedal in water, it is definitely a must. I added a little dish soap to the water in order for the screwdriver to slide on rubber. Anyway here are the pics:

Re: Pedals and Chrome Foglight inserts pics

Do the chrome inserts grip shoe soles as well as the stock rubber? I tend to push on the edge/lower corner of the brake pedal, and wonder whether a foot might be more likely to slip off the inserts...

Red referred these guys earlier, they have a bunch of 2011 gear much of it "on sale" though still a tad pricey.

So far so good. I had the same thought in mind when I installed them. No slipping yet, but i kept the stock pedal just in case.

Red, I just followed the directions that came in the box. Used a rag and a small flathead screwdriver...just catch the outside portion of the plastic bevel and push towards the center of truck and then grabbed it from the inside where the light is an popped it out with my hands....pretty straight forward...the chromes ones just pop right back in...you will here a little "click" when they are in and seated.
