Re: pics of overland very stuck in mud...

1) Great post & comments

2) I think mud could potentially contain "metals", enough to cause false positives on speed sensors? not sure

3) Next time you get stuck and lose 4wd, try disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes to see if a reset fixes it.

Re: pics of overland very stuck in mud...

i was thinking that, rich... i was scared about what other systems i could be screwing with by doing that though. what's the worst that could happen? anyone know? maybe just need to reset the clock or something?
also, hadn't thought about this until just now, but... where is the battery, by the way? heh...

Re: pics of overland very stuck in mud...

Holy smokes! Reminds me of the time I got my 2000 Nissan pathfinder stuck in the desert. Started raining heavily and I decided to cross up the sand dune to the top instead of taking the more sensible long way around. Funny enough an older Cherokee came to my rescue! Was able to be towed out But we had to wait for the rain to stop and had to use a plank under the tire to be pulled out. Super fun times!!!
