Re: Plastic dip rear

Thanks Nyates, I was looking at getting the RRO leveling kit and putting those tires on in the size of 33's. I haven't found a rim I like just yet to pull the trigger so to speak. I will be plastic dipping my front grill and rear brow. With that being said, did anyone use the clear coat over the top of the plastic dip or just left it as is? I hear it's an easy process and if you mess up you can just peel it right off and start over again.

Re: Plastic dip rear

I was also considering the leveling kit but I like the stock height with the stance of the new 10" wide wheels. I have my front grill and rear brow plasti dipped black. I like the matte look without the clear coat but that's my preference. The 33's are big, I'm not sure that they'll fit with only a leveling kit, might need a small lift. I haven't looked into it either but if they will fit that will look awesome. Keep us posted and post pics.

Ive decided that i dont like the gun metal gray,,, i removed it about a week later, I'm thinking to smoke it a lil and see how i like it....

I will wait until i rent a garage at my apt complex since the wind dont help spray.

Just finished painting my Moab wheels, will install tomorrow.

Thats ur opinion and u can keep it to yourself, they are plastic dipped and its a matte finish... Im not surprise since most people are not assholes, and amateurish, well i dont mind that since i can still take pride in doing it myself instead of saying i paid some dude 200 for a small spray job..

I guess ur momma never showed u manners, if u have nothing good to say the dont say nothing, if u have to say something, there are more better ways to say it than just flat out insulting the job of someone else...

Well remember it does not have metal flakes nor gloss.
