Thanks ! I'm really pleased with the change in appearance.
I initially decided to paint the chrome mirrors, but after reading up on all of the steps necessary to get a good result, I decided to buy new Laredo factory painted mirrors from AllMopar Parts. Cost was $300.00, but I put the OEM Chrome caps on the Laredo mirrors and sold them for $200.00, so my end cost was $100.00
I've never understood why Chrysler/Fiat puts painted door handles and mirrors only on the Laredo, and not on the Limited, Overland, and Summit. I like the monochromatic look of painted handles and mirrors, in lieu of chrome.
I'm leaving the door handles chrome, as I'm not interested in taking each door apart to replace them with painted handles, and I can live with them the way that they are.

Getting the tabs released on the chrome caps was very tough...the Overland has so much stuff inside the housing (folding motor, etc.), that the lower tabs are very difficult to get to. Took me about 30 minutes for each side. Once the chrome caps were off, the painted caps snapped right on.
