Thanks, interesting read. Didn't know Overland used to be a car company.

Nowadays it's that:
2010: The Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit edition debuts, enhancing the WK2's luxury options even further with unique Black Olive burl real wood trim, a leather-wrapped, heated steering wheel, and Berber floor mats. Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-path detection systems are standard on the vehicle. The interior later earns the prestigous Ward's "10 Best Interior" award.

Generally speaking some decals are just too much...

I removed my Laredo and 4x4 badging, but not for this reason. I'm far from 'embarrassed' about my trim level (in fact, i think the Laredo looks better w/o all the chrome). I simply removed them because I think it looks cleaner.

I was thinking of Debadging mine. Did it to my previous Audis. I don't know yet, we'll see.

Now that my truck sits 30 inches off the ground I'm gonna take off the trail rated badge. I couldn't get over a twig in the woods so low. Haha

Re: Removed Laredo Hatch Decal

I removed the Laredo and kept the 4X4 as well, but not because I want people to think I have a Limited or Overland. I just dont like chrome or clutter...

I used a blow-dryer and slowly heated up the decal, then it removes very easily, just don't pull if of too quickly, you'll find out just how much you can pull so the adhesive tape stays intact...

Re: Removed Laredo Hatch Decal

I will remove all badging. Always have on all my vehicles. I prefer the cleaner look. At least that's what I tell myself, yet my last car had a back window full of stickers.

I will, however, keep the Overland and 4x4 emblems because IF i ever decide to sell, I can put them back on. Some people need the visual assurance of what they are buying.
