Yes the Merc did well considering she would have been dead in the 3-series she used to have. Broken collar bone, arm, whiplash, concussion. She's 90% whole after surgery and therapy. If my kids were in the back they would have been killed without a doubt. The WK2 looks to be remarkably strong in the side-impact department and based on how we like my WK2, we're probably going to buy another WK2 and get rid of the Audi she has now.

If that knocked you halfway into the other lane, there is very good chance there is damage you cannot see. especially since the Jeep absorbed so much impact on the side.
